A Litter of Kittens

When the girls texted me and asked me what I was doing I said "making a litter of kittens" so here they are

About Me

Meri Glassbeads: I was born and raised in Hamilton and then moved to Port Dover to marry my wonderful husband of 24 years. I have always been creative and took a night school class in stained glass at the age of 15. Since then I have worked with glass in a variety of techniques, including fusing and slumping and now lampworking (glass bead making). When I couldn't find the unusual pieces to add to the glass beads that I was making I decided to take a metal smithing class at Mohawk College. I now make all kinds of unique jewelry using the glass beads I make and the metal pieces. I also make rings, bracelets and earrings from silver, copper and brass to add to my collection. I love what I do and have a very supportive husband that sets up all the equipment I need. Port Dover is the best place to be as it has an extremely supportive group of people who love the arts.
